Are facebook users more social?

This article written by Pamela Paul asks the question, "Does Facebook make someone social offline?" To my suprise the answer is yes, according to this article. I didn't think that using a social networking site would make someone more socially involved offline than they already were.
Also, in this article Paul describes how men and women use facebook. According to her, men use facebook to post informartion, and generally use it more seriously than women. Women use facebook in a more affectionate way.

So far in the book Mark seems a little extreme. The book portrays him as a typical college student, the only exception is that he is an expert when it comes to technology. The book takes a more gentle approach when describing Mark. It definitely describes him as an arrogant jerk, but it can't even compare to how bad the film describes him. The film is basically taking a continuous shot at Mark's personality and character. It seem's relentless and it makes the viewers dislike him as well. The question is.....which one is more accurate?

This image illustrates how the price of oil is rising and seems like it won't ever stop. The intended audience is all of the oil consumers. I couldn't find the writer, or cartoonist of this piece. The cartoonist's point of drawing this is just to show how oil prices are only rising, and that the prices are becoming a bit ridiculous.
